1. Information connected with your enquiry

We receive the details you choose to provide in our enquiry form or directly to our team. Depending on what you share, this can include your name, contact details, WhatsApp number, academic background, intended level of study, program interests and questions.

If you later ask us to help with an application, additional information or documents may be needed. We will explain the relevant requirements before that stage. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive documents in an initial enquiry.

2. Why we use this information

• To respond to your enquiry and contact you through WhatsApp or the contact method you provide.
• To understand your academic background and explain relevant programs, university options, possible scholarship opportunities and application requirements.
• To provide the application, visa, pre-departure or arrival assistance you ask for.
• To maintain records needed to manage your enquiry, resolve a concern or meet applicable legal requirements.

Submitting an enquiry does not create an automated admission or scholarship eligibility decision. Scholarship opportunities and final decisions depend on the relevant institutions and your circumstances.

3. The services involved

Our consultation form is hosted using Tally. Enquiry data is received through that service. Communications may also use WhatsApp and our email service. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Hosting providers may also process technical information, such as network and browser details, to deliver and protect the website.

You can read Tally’s privacy notice and WhatsApp’s privacy policy. Hosting and communication providers may process information outside Sri Lanka. If you ask us to assist with a university application in China, the necessary application information may also need to be sent to the relevant institution or authority.

4. Sharing information

We use information to handle your enquiry and the services you request. Where needed, it may be shared with team members handling your case, service providers supporting that work, or universities and relevant authorities for an application you ask us to support. We do not sell your personal information.

Information may also need to be disclosed when required by applicable law or a lawful request. We do not publish student names, photographs or testimonials as endorsements without permission.

5. Website preferences and advertising

The website uses session storage to remember whether you have already seen the intake popup and to keep the loading screen continuous when opening the consultation form. These are functional settings, not an advertising profile.

Campaign labels in an advertisement link, such as the source or campaign name, may be carried to the consultation page. If configured as form fields, these can help us understand which campaign brought an enquiry. This website does not currently load a Meta Pixel or other GoNext advertising tracker. If optional advertising tracking is introduced, the relevant notice and any required choices will be updated before it is enabled.

GoNext Abroad is independent and is not part of or endorsed by Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Following a link to another platform means that platform’s own privacy terms also apply.

6. Keeping information

Information should be kept only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, provide the assistance you request, resolve a concern and meet any applicable record-keeping requirements. The period can depend on whether an enquiry develops into an application or another service. You can contact us to ask about information associated with your enquiry.

Please use care when sending documents. No online service or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you have provided, or to stop further marketing contact. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any legitimate record-keeping requirements. We may need enough information to verify that a request relates to you.

If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian before sharing application documents or making arrangements for study abroad.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this notice as our services or website change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes affecting an ongoing service will be communicated where appropriate.
